Returns & Cancellations
Eligible merchandise may be returned or canceled within 3 calendar days of delivery or pickup, subject to approval and the conditions outlined below.
A 25% restocking or cancellation fee will apply to eligible returns and cancellations. This fee helps cover processing, handling, transportation, and storage expenses.
Any remaining eligible balance will be issued as store credit only. Cash refunds or refunds to the original payment method are not offered for change-of-mind returns, except where required by applicable law.
All returned merchandise must be in its original condition, free from damage, stains, odors, or signs of use. Furniture City reserves the right to inspect returned merchandise before approving a return.
Non-Returnable Merchandise
The following merchandise is generally considered final sale and may not be returned or exchanged:
- Mattresses, bedding, pillows, and sleep accessories
- Upholstered furniture, including sofas, sectionals, and recliners
- Rugs and other fabric-based products
- Clearance, floor-model, and as-is merchandise
- Used, damaged, assembled, or altered merchandise
- Special-order, custom-order, and non-stock merchandise
Special orders are non-refundable and non-returnable once placed, except where required by applicable law.
Delivery & Pickup
Delivery charges, assembly fees, and other completed service charges are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for any additional pickup, transportation, or redelivery charges associated with an approved return or exchange.
Customers should carefully inspect all merchandise upon delivery or pickup and report any visible damage or missing items immediately.
Damaged or Defective Merchandise
If your merchandise arrives damaged or defective, please contact Furniture City as soon as possible.
We may request photographs, purchase information, or an inspection to evaluate the issue.
Eligible manufacturing defects will be handled in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s warranty and any rights provided by law.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Many products include a limited manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and remedies vary by manufacturer and product.
Furniture City will assist customers with eligible warranty claims when applicable. Warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and approval.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper assembly, and damage caused by customers are generally not covered by manufacturer warranties.
Refund Processing
Approved store credits will be issued after the returned merchandise has been received and inspected.
Store credit may be used toward future eligible purchases at Furniture City.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
